There is a list of authors with pronunciation, by volume; authors classified, i.e. biographers, explorers, poets, etc,; titles of extracts; analytical index; bibliographical index. Hardcover Book in Good Condition. No Jacket, as issued. Lower half of backstrap is missing. Green marbled cloth, leather over spine and corners, very clean; corners and spine head scuffed; sewn binding very solid, tight and square, endbands; top edge gilt; fore-edge and lower edge rough cut--many leaves remain uncut, in original state; pages only lightly toned, very clean and completely unmarked.
