Finland: MGM, 1962. 1st Edition . No Binding. Near Fine. First Printing. A vintage, original, Finnish cinema-used poster for the first screening (1962) in Finland of Sam Peckinpah's acclaimed western, starring Randolph Scott (in his last film) and Joel McCrea. The film won the First Prize at Cannes and is nowadays considered as the director's first "Great" movie. The poster names the movie as "Guns in the Afternoon" which was its European title. Approximate size is 23.5 inches by 15.5 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. SIGNS OF USE: Near Fine condition. Unfolded. Pinholes to the corners. Short tear to the right edge (1cm). Handling crease to right side around the tear. Otherwise, in outstanding shape. Bright, clean and vivid. A striking poster for a really great movie. For the best appreciation of condition please study the accompanying photograph which is high resolution.
