Gift inscription on the title page, otherwise fine in dust jacket with just a trace of edge wear, 112 pages with more than 140 of Smith's best paintings, drawings, and sketches of military and civilian aircraft. Smith was an engineer for Douglas Aircraft Company designing many successful tactical aircraft. He later transitioned from designing them to painting them and earned a reputation as one of the finest aviation artists of all time..
