Dustwrapper design from a gouache by Mervyn Peake, with four other drawings by Mervyn Peake. Light surface abrasions to endpapers; d/w has small losses to head and tail of spine and corners; d/w has short edge tears, (longest 24 mm); d/w has some chipping; else a very good plus copy, in a very good d/w, of a SCARCE first limited edition. D/w now protected in a detachable, non-adhesive, clear sheaf.. First Limited Edition. Paperback. Very Good Plus/Very Good. Illus. by Mervyn Peake.
