About This Item
1948. Soft cover. Very Good. This is a 10 page reprint of a lecture on resistance movements during WW II in Occupied Europe, primarily France. The pamphlet is in very good condition, with two light folds, minor corner wear, and one short pen mark on page 6. The paper has tanned very slightly. Gubbins knew what he was talking about -- he had run the British Special Operations Executive during the War. He discusses the formation of the SOE, conrol and procedures, relationships with emigre governments, and the various meethods of resistance, including sabotage, secret armies, etc. An attractive copy of an unusual item.
