First edition, illustrated with 5 plates, octavo, pp xvi, 440, a little age-toning and very slight marking, a small neat name and address on the front endpaper, but otherwise very good and clean internally, original cloth, slightly rubbed, slight bumping and wear to the corners, the spine pulled and frayed at head and tail, the upper joint worn with some splits (see illustration) and corresponding internal cracking and slight weakness at the front hinge. . First Edition. Cloth. Good.
