Light rubbing and scuffing to boards, which are starting to separate but secure, moderate rubbing to extremities, joints varnished, tape and adhesive residue to head of spine and upper corners of boards, corners bumped and worn, faint offsetting to endleaves, front endleaves loosening, library stamp and early ownership signature (of William Montgomery) to title page. Moderate toning and light foxing to interior. $125. * Only Dublin edition. First published in London in 1708, these reports were the first set of reports devoted entirely to criminal law. They were collected after Kelyng's death and published by Justice Holt in 1708. Kelyng, a lawyer who specialized in criminal cases, became a judge of the King's Bench in 1663 was made Chief Justice of that court in 1665. The cases cover the years 1662 to 1669.
