This is an antique copy of "Reminiscences and Anecdotes of DANIEL WEBSTER" by Peter Harvey. 1877 1st edition; Little, Brown, and Company; Boston. The book features a frontispiece engraving of Webster, a profile engraving of Webster on the title page, and three other full-page engravings. The contents are as follows: Early Years, As a Law Student, At the Bar, Public Life, Mr. Webster and His Contemporaries, Home Life - Marshfield and Franklin, Personal Traits, Religious Thoughts and Feelings, Last Days and Death. With an Appendix and an Index.

Condition:
Clean back cover and spine; the front cover has a couple light stains at the top edge. Tanning to the top and right edge of the front cover. Tiny cloth tear at the bottom-right corner of the front cover. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Nice interior - the pages are clean with only a thin, light stain at the top edge of a few pages at the front, and a small stains at the outer edge of page 6. Two blank end papers at the back also have some staining at the top edge. Ex-library copy with 2 labels affixed to the front pastedown, a diagonal sleeve affixed to the rear pastedown, and a date slip affixed to the rear end papers...no other library markings found. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
