The front pastedown endpaper has a bookseller label (Foyles) and a previous owner bookplate. The front free endpaper has a handwritten date in ink. The price-clipped dust jacket is edge-worn with tears at the spine ends and is protected now in a Mylar cover. 539 pages with Bibliography, Lists of the Holders of Certain Offices, and Index, followed by maps and genealogical tables..
