Philadelphia: H. C. Carey and I. Lea, 1824. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 12mos. 288; 321 pages. Hardcovers bound in 3/4 calf with green/blue marbled paper-covered boards. All edges speckled yellow. The bindings are rubbed and have some surface scuffing but are generally quite sound with secure hinges. The marbled paper is scuffed or heavily rubbed on some volumes, and Volume II has some heavier chipping to the marbled paper on the rear cover. The text is toned and has some foxing. A sturdy set in the original bindings.
