Octavos. x, 3-656; [2], x, 3-668pp. Illustrated with 34 hand-colored aquatint plates: including the frontispiece and facing engraved title leaf, and two extra plates (one in each volume), not listed in the Contents. Bound in modern red half morocco and marbled paper over boards, two gilt stamped red leather titling labels on spine, modern laid paper endleaves, all edges gilt. From the library of American businessman Rodman Wanamaker, with his armorial bookplate on front pastedown of each volume. Intermittent light toning and some light foxing, about near fine in a handsome period style binding. *Tooley* 199.
