About This Item
From back DJ cover: "Features more than one thousand alphabetically arranged entries covering the critical events, issues, and individuals that have shaped American history. Encompasses political, economic, social, and cultural history. Offers...essays, and...thematic articles.... Written by nearly four hundred eminent scholars, biographers, and journalists. Includes maps and tables, bibliographies, thorough cross-references, and an extensive index."
Book - Very Good condition. Navy paper over boards with gold gilt on front and spine. The paper on the back side of the covers has discolored - probably due to the glue used. Very minimal edge/corner wear to boards: however, there is light soiling to the bottom of the closed book pages. Otherwise, clean and tight.
Dust Jacket - Good condition. There are both closed tears and small chips. A larger tear/chip on the top front has been taped.
