About This Item
1939 hardcover as pictured. A collection of anecdotes and tales with which the author attempts to record the social activities of the early settlers of the Ohio country and lower middle west. Binding is firm. Blue cloth boards with black stamping show some edge wear. Book plate and pencil notations on front endpapers. Text is lightly tanned but appears otherwise clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is rubbed and faded over spine with many small chips and tears. We have a number of books on offer concerning Kentucky history. Please see our storefront for more information.
