Light greenish-gray covers with gold lettering on spine and simple gold drawing of a flower on front. There is a very thin light stain on front cover by right outside edge measuring 1 x 1/16. Text is clean/tight with 3 tipped-in color illustrations. One is the frontispiece of Rachel Hunt and the other two are of a passion flower on page 14 and a hyacinthus on page 23. Between pages 2 and 3 there is a b/w fold-out illustrated floor plan and furniture layout drawing of the Hunt Botanical Library. A few b/w photos and illustrations throughout rest of book.
