Philadelphia:Henry Carey Baird, 1871. First Edition. hard cover. Very Good/No jacket. Philadelphia:Henrty Carey Baird. 1871. 1st edition, 367pp+24pp ads. Hardcover. Black bind stamped boards lightly soiled, rubbed and shelfworn, with wear, chipping and fraying to spine ends and wear along edges with edge points bumped and worn to boards. Internally end-pages soiled with penciled notes to inside front board and previous owners names inked to 1st free end-page, as well as a slightly larger than a quarter chip to lower edge of 1st free end-page. The lower half of the last 4 pages of ads have been removed. The binding is tight with front hinge starting and rear intact.
