A 3-act multicultural romance set in modern-day Quebec written by the Nova-Scotian-born, Afro-Canadian writer, academic and 2001 poetry winner of the Governor General's Award. Originally commissioned in 2001 as a libretto for the Guelph Jazz Fesitival that premiered in 2003, Québécité is an expanded poetic rendering. The music for the libretto was composed by D. D. Jackson, a Juno-award winning pianist and composer. Blue card covers with french flaps. 104 + pages. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. VG - VG+ condition. Minor wear to top edge and a small amount of marker to top of back cover. Uncommon signature
