London, UK: Sir Isaac Pitman and Sons, 1947. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. xvii, 182pp, four fold-out charts. Black cloth-covered boards; silver publisher's logo on front; silver titles on spine; many black and white charts and diagrams. 8vo. Rear board very lightly soiled. Spine ends lightly rubbed. Corners very lightly rubbed and moderately rounded. Text block edges tanning (just affecting page margins) and lightly foxed. Presentation label on front free endpaper. Light staining along fore-edge of last couple of pages and rear free endpaper. Internally neat, clean and tight. Dust jacket covers moderately soiled with shelf wear along edges and folds with chipping at corners and spine ends and some <4cm closed tears and small loss along bottom front edge, not price clipped; interior lightly tanned with some foxing along folds and two pieces of tape on the rear cover.
