New York: McLoughlin Bros, 1888. Paperback. Very Good. André, Richard. [8] p.: 4 full-page chromolithographed illustrations; 27 cm. Chromolithographed paper wrappers with front and back wrapper illustrations, and full-page chromolithographed illustrations inside both front and back wrapper. Pages are stiffened linen. From the story by Charles Perrault. Identified as part of the publisher's Puss in Boots Series (this was also issued as part of the Hop O' My Thumb Series, the Young Folks Series, and the Little Folks' Series). Title, imprint, and series statement from front cover. In Very Good Condition: edges rubbed; corners of front wrapper creased; small holes along gutter and at most corners of pages, not touching text or illustrations; a solid copy with bright illustrations.
