Binding split inside front and back covers, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Deals with the various women in the life of Charles Edward Stuart (''Bonnie Prince Charlie'') including his mother Clementina Sobieska, his wife Princess Louise of Stolberg-Gerden, his daughter, his friends and supporters and others. Originally published in the UK in 1934, this is the first US edition from the next year. 296pp, b&w frontispiece.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
