About This Item

Firth had an enormous impact on anthropological theory and method, and on the development of Pacific anthropology. His most significant theoretical contributions have been in economic anthropology and the study of social relations through the perspective of social organization. These contributions have grown out of his fieldwork among the Maori, the Malay and the Tikopia.

Condition:

Previous owner's name on front paste down, page ends soiled, corners gently bumped. Dust wrapper chipped at spine ends and corners, spine sunned, lightly soiled, closed edge tears. Other wise a very good copy and a very good and scarce dust wrapper.
