Russell Wiggins, Editor and Executive Vice President, Washington Post, and note on authors. Gold coloured cloth covered boards with red and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Pink coloured tint to the top text edge. Red, black and white coloured titles to the front panel and white and red coloured titles to the backstrip. Sixteen top newsmen describe how the news is collected, written and communicated from the world's most important capital. Included are discussions on all aspects – media, sauces, and problems – of journalism in the nation's capital." – from front fold over panel. Contributors include Jack Bell, Edward P Morgan and Art Buchwald (for the more light-hearted view). Rubbing of the backstrip corners and of the book. There is some fading to the top edge of the book – from halfway from the front panel to halfway to the rear panel – please see photograph. Some foxing spots also present. Offset tanning of the end pages with age toning of the text block edges and pages. Previous owners name to the top right hand corner of the free front page and page 33. Little chipping of the top backstrip edge and top dustwrapper corners. There is a half-inch tear to the lower edge of the front panel, with associated creasing. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with handling marks to the rear panel. Fading of the backstrip and there are some foxing spots to the top edge of the fold over panels and to the verso of the dustwrapper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
