Lippincott, 1864 This is a set of 16 volumes in full mottled, polished calf, triple borders and spine in 6 compartments with five raised bands, all uniformly bound. Set includes Ferdinand and Isabella, 1841; Phillip the Second 3 vv, 1863; Charles the Fifth, 3 vv; Conquest of Mexico 3vv; Conquest of Peru 2 vv; Biographical and Critical Miscellanies 1 vv; Life of Prescott by George Ticknor and published by Ticknor and Fields in 1864. All volumes but Ferdinand and Isabella and Phillip the Second published in 1864. A superb set with quite occasional rub spots The only real detraction is on the front board of Phillip the Second with three dark spots [pictured]. This set is 9" tall.
