1774. The third edition. Folio. (16.8 x 11.3 inches). Portrait frontispiece; 37 full and 4 double page copperplates (including 4 double-page) and 17 fine engravings in the text by Boitard. A clean and wide margined copy in contemporary full tree calf binding. Spine with red title label, lettered ruled and decorated in gilt. Spine ruled and fully decorated in gilt. Expertly re-cased with the spine laid down. Marbled endpapers. Some minor rubbing to the extremities but overall a very good and attractive copy.
