Good. 608 p., clean and unmarked except for gift inscription on front end page dated "Christmas 1902;" clipped poem pasted beneath the inscription and a second clipping, very tan on newsprint, is pasted to back end page, and it leaves a tan mark on p. 608. Frontis. engraving of author, with intact tissue guard; gilt edges; clean but faded red boards have gilt lettering and ornamentation; corners are bumped and there is rubbing along crown and fott of spine panel. Cracking along front gutter but volume firm and square.
