Two books bound together, each paginated separately. Contains black and white illustrations and plates. Pages are heavily tanned and foxed throughout. Water staining throughout. Minor dog-eared corners. Loss to front free endpaper, top edge of title page and half title page. Pen inscription to title pages. Binding remains firm. Rear hinge is cracked with exposed netting, board is loose. Thumb-marking present. Board has heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Considerable loss to spine ends and corners. Significant peeling leather to spine and corners.
