Volume I: The Life of John Milton; Paradise Lost; Index. Volume II: Paradise Regained; Comus, A Mask; Samson Agonistes, and Other Poems. Text unmarked except for previous owner's label at front pastedown, partly removed, and previous owner's identification at back free endpaper. Foxed throughout. Brown leather boards with blindstamped decoration at front and back, compartments at spien marked in gilt, title label lost. Boards rubbed, all edges rubbed, corners bumped and worn to boards, front joint starting to crack. Hinges good, textblock firm, binding overall stable.
