Edinburgh: W P Nimmo, c1900. Vellum. Very Good Indeed. 7.5" by 4". None. A lovely edition of the poetry of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. With Biographical Note. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (February 27, 1807 March 24, 1882) was an American poet and educator whose works include "Paul Revere's Ride" , The Song of Hiawatha, and Evangeline. He was also the first American to translate Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy and was one of the five Fireside Poets. Re-bound in a decorative quarter vellum binding with blue cloth covered boards. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some browning to the end-papers. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown. Very Good Indeed
