This edition of Longfellow's works is the Albion Edition, the text of which is reprinted from the Revised American Edition. With explanatory notes. Including The Golden Legend, Hiawatha's Lamentation, Lady Wentworth and many more. In a full calf binding with gilt motif to front board. Externally, sound, though with some marks and some rubbing to the extremities. Hinges are slightly strained. Ink signature to the verso of the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with just some very slight marginal age-toning. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
