A lovely copy of the Frowde Oxford Edition of Poems by Tennyson in fine binding with a prize dedication from Cathedral School Exeter. A collection of Poems of Tennyson in fine vellum binding, published by Henry Frowde, Oxford University Press.Including 'The Princess', 'In Memoriam', 'Maud', 'Idylls of the King', 'Enoch Arden', and more. The collection is divided chronologically, including poems from Tennyson's early years as well as some of his most notable works from his later years. A lovely copy of this work in fine floral binding. Also includes a prize dedication from Cathedral School, Exeter from Christmas 1908, presented to a student from the headmaster. In quarter vellum binding with cloth covered boards. Fine floral design on the spine of the book. Externally, bright with minor shelfwear only. A few light marks to boards. Inscription to the front pastedown indicating prize dedication: '"Ut voce, ita vita" - Cathedral School, Exeter, Uyles Francis, Prize in Form III, Christmas, 1908. Given by H. de Vere Welchiman, Headmaster.' Internally, firmly bound and several leaves are unopened to the fore-edge. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
