Clean red cloth boards with gold torch bearer on cover, black title box, gold lettering and torch bearer on spine. No bumping or wear; 1/4" of fading at top spine edge. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages and edges are clean with black top-stained upper page edges, clean endpapers - no names, writing or marks. 1133 pages with Index. Clean illustrated jacket is unclipped (1.25 on front inside flap), has 1/4" chipping at base of spine, a few nicks and short closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover..
