NY: James B. Millar & Co., 1885 584pp. Tips are bumped and rubbed. Spine ends are bumped, rubbed, and spine heel is lightly frayed. Light shelf wear to edges of boards. Edges of text block have dust staining and top gilt edge has lightl scratches. Damp staining to foredge and lower edge of text block. Several stains on front board and a few small stains on rear board. Former owner bookplate inside cfront board. Light staining to endpapers and first few pages. Inside boards have small glue bubbles that have caused creases to the outside portions of the text block. Pages are toning along the edges and have light foxing. Spine is cocked and shaken. Front hinge is weak and slightly open near the spine ends, Text is unmarked. . Reprint. Hardcover. Fair/No Dust Jacket.
