Full sheep with slightly raised spine bands, gilt lettered maroon spine label, gilt ruled compartments, about 6.25 inches tall, 284 pages. Covers heavily rubbed and scuffed, spine label legible, binding firm, page age-toned with light occasional foxing and intermittent dampstaining along the top margin, name and 1779 date at top of title page, same name on first page of Volpone, not on reverse side of title page.. Hard Cover. Fair. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
