(1st edition) Large, squarish book, dark brown covers with very bright gilt illustration of wood ducks at bottom front right, very bright gilt lettering on spine with gilt geese, yellow background inside covers and adjacent end papers with labelled illustration of farmlands identifying kinds of trees amid the paddocks and fields, 159 pages plus a final illustration. A sketch on almost every page. DJ glossy yellow background, a stunning color-illustration of lake and trees on front in dark brown frame, an illustration of duck at top front right, another color-illustration on back of lake in frame with illustration of hawk above it. DJ is worn and torn at most edges with thin long chip at back bottom. Poor DJ/Fine book.
