A. H. & A. W. Reed, 1964. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Signed on title page by Sir Edmund Hillary and by Peter's wife June Mulgrew (who he credits in the work as co-author). After Peter's death in Antarctica years later, June married Hillary. NOT signed by Peter Mulgrew. A very good copy of the first edition in a very good jacket (jacket has surface and edge wear; ink gift inscription on verso of front endpaper).
