About This Item

Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1934. First edition. Hardcover. Very good copy. 8vo. Cloth. Pp. viii, 338. Maps on end-papers. This is the well-known story of what happened to the Bounty mutineers after they left Tahiti in search of a similar idyllic island in the South Pacific where they could settle. When they found it, they sank their ship and then proceeded to murder each other. "We did a cruel wrong when we set Captain Bligh adrift with all them innocent men."
