Commemorative booklet issued for the 83rd anniversary of the Piney Woods School, a historically African-American boarding school. Reproduces numerous historical photographs as well as letters of congratulations from politicians, including conservative state governor Kirk Fordice (who opposed raising teacher salaries and vetoed the Education Enhancement Act of 1992). The Founder's Day festivities commemorate the legacy of the school's founder, Laurence C. Jones.
