A clean, unmarked and unusually well-preserved copy of this cheaply printed softcover "dime novel." Pages are clean and supple, light toning but no tears or chips. Text quality varies with some pages printed dark, other light and a few slightly skewed from center. Color illustrated paper cover (with illustration of coonskin- capped Pine Tree Jack being pursued by rifle bearing Indians) is clean, lightly edge rubbed. Cover spine is creased but intact. Stapled binding secure, staples rusty but intact. Back cover has listing of 100 titles in the series. 5 x 6-3/4"; 95 pages plus 4 ad pages at rear. Reprint. Soft Cover. Near Fine.
