John Hogg, 1897. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1897. No Edition Stated. 402 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt design and lettering. Black and white illustrated frontispiece, and many illustrations throughout. Pages have moderate tanning, but text remains clear. Binding is slightly loose, but all pages are attached. Noticeable cracking to gutters throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front free end paper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with visible bumping to corners and noticeable scuffing to edges. Slight rubbing to rear board. Mild tanning to spine, but lettering remains legible. Noticeable crushing to spine ends, with minor splitting.
