Top edges coloured red. Clean, crisp, tight and bright with no reading wear, no marks to text, very slight toning to other edges. VG++* Illustrations: Colour and black and white illustrations throughout.* Pages: 104 pp. text. ix pp. index & blank pages at rear.* Description: From the 1950's through to the 1970's Betjeman wrote numerous books on Architecture and it was during this period that he put much effort into protecting historical buildings which were being dismantled post war without much concern for their architectural importance. His statue is to be seen today on the concourse at St Pancras station which is only with us today due to his intervention in the 60's.* A NEAR FINE text copy with some light age and wear to the jacket reducing it to VG.
