London: Bohn's Standard Library, 1848. Hardcover; 498 pages. Dark green cloth covers, lavishly embossed, gilt titles on spine. The corners are heavily bumped, the spine faded, edges worn/frayed. A couple stains on back cover. The endpapers are Bohn's book catalogue, foxed. While the main text is merely yellowing, the pages from endpapers through to title are moderately to heavily foxed. The pages were cut somewhat roughly. Page 315/316 has been taped, and the tape has intensely yellowed. GOOD-. Hardcover. Good-.
