Burgundy original cloth boards with gilt-stamped titles. Two corners bumped. Cream end papers showing toning at hinges. From the private library of Larry Southwick, collector's marginalia pencilled near front hinge, and on a few pages in the book. Moderate foxing to top edge. Deckle fore edge. Binding is strong, square, and sound. In a near fine, original, unclipped dust jacket, which is showing toning at top and small closed tears at head and tail of spine. 329 pp. Octavo, 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches tall. The original MS. not offered here, appears in Sabin, pg. 514. Sabin calls it "a work of considerable rarity and importance.
