Synopsis
This is a collection of stories about the natural and supernatural set in the Ozarks where Ida Chittum was reared. Many stories are based on actual experiences and people she knew. The stories were written as juvenile fiction but work well as adult fiction. They are accompanied by wonderful, creepy black and white illustrations.
