[West Virginia?], 1914. Very good to fine; some light toning and dust soiling, creased where previously folded.. A charming original manuscript poem in blue ink titled "Pen", signed by A.G. Wilcox: "Pen is a thing that they write with Pen is a thing that will brake[sic] Pen is a thing to keep in the house..." Concludes with "Pen is a thing that they write loveletter [sic] with. Pen is a sharp thing"
Wilcox was born in 1895, and would have been around 19 around the time this was written. He lived in West Virginia.
