This one is the story of three young people --two boys and a girl -- eager to leave their rural community and find success in London, one as an actress, one as a writer and one as whatever it takes to become rich. Red cloth-covered boards' corners and spine ends bumped and worn; color faded on spine; previous owner's name on inside front cover, "1927" and "Buffalo" on front pastedown along with a library marking (book's only ex libris indication). Text shows soiling, very minor dampstaining on edges. Binding is tight, text is complete. Sorry, no dustjacket. A decent reading/study copy.
