Purple cloth stamped in gilt, with pictorial paper onlay to front board; [x],429,[1]pp. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper, with a pencil ownership inscription below. Whole, with a mild forward roll, rubbed at edges, spine browned: around Very Good. Keyes was a Charlottesville, Virginia-born novelist, memoirist, and wife of Henry W. Keyes, Governor of New Hampshire from 1917 to 1919 and Senator from that state from 1919 to 1937. [62354].
