New York, New York, U.S.A: School Art League, 1919. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 6 1/2" x 9. GOOD /NO DUST JACKET. Former Library Book. 79 pp. Text clean and unmarked except for usual library treatments. Thick deckle edge paper. Pages lightly yellowed. Illustrated with 8 full page b/w drawings of the characters in costumes designed by Ethel H. Averell, and drawn by students of the Washington Irving High School. Pale grey paper over boards with off-white textured cloth spine, with publisher's paper label pasted on at front, somewhat soiled and sunned, shelfwear at lower edges, lower corners bumped and worn to boards. Joints and hinges good, binding firm and tight. "The Pageant of Niké Apteros the Wingless Victory was first presented December 7, 1918 before the School Art League of New York City and was published by the society that it might be available for the use of school throughout the country.
