About This Item
First hardcover edition, unread black numbered limited edition, number 139 of 200 such copies. This mystery first appeared in the NY Times Magazine, where it was serialized in 16 installments. Fine book bound in blue/gray leather in a Fine dark blue slipcase. Book and slipcase have embossed radiation symbols on front covers. A Dr. is found murdered on the Mulholland Dam overlook. It is then discovered that he probably stole a large amount of radioactive cesium from his work – enough to make a deadly, "dirty" bomb. This slipcased copy, which has been signed by Connelly on the limitation page, is housed in its original, blue shipping box.
