About This Item

London: Heinemann. London, Heinemann, 1958. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. Near fine book in a good jacket. Presents well externally, but jacket interior is stained and consequently a touch wrinkled. A little bumping to the spine tips and the jacket is a little chipped here and there. Overall a pleasing copy, just a shame about the staining. Cover art by Donald Green [9322, Hyraxia Books]. . Near Fine. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1958.

Synopsis

Our Man In Havana is a novel by British author Graham Greene. Certain aspects of the plot, in particular the importance of secret military constructions, appear to predict the Cuban Missile Crisis, which took place in 1962. It was adapted into a film of the same name in 1959, directed by Carol Reed and starring Alec Guinness. In 2007, it was adapted into a play by Clive Francis.
