Produced in the Globe Theater in 1923, 'Our Betters' is the comedic story of an interaction between newly wealthy Americans and upper-class British society. The play enjoyed a run of 548 West End performances and was adapted to film in 1933, starring Constance Bennett, Anita Louise and Gilbert Roland as the main cast.

Reissue of the English impression with new American title-leaf, printed in America. Heinemann sheets consisting of 200 copies, were despatched to NY in January 1924 (Stott, page 82.) Dampstains to boards and endpages/gutters, not that noticeable in the majority of the text, and a small split to paper at ffep with a bit of band poking through. Board edges rubbed through in spots. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
