Vatican City: Typis Polyglottis Vaticanis. Good with no dust jacket. 1950. Hardcover. xiii, 465 pp; Vol. II. Contains the Ordinatio, Liber Primus, Distinctio Prima et Secunda. Large quarto, in light brown cloth with leather spine. Leather is dry and speckled, spine gilt still legible, leather is cracking at the joints and leather is lifting. Cloth is clean with minor wear, some corners bumped. Interior has wood-grained end papers, some minor ownership marks and institutional stamps, but otherwise clean and sturdy. . "John Duns Scotus (1265/66-1308) was one of the most important and influential philosopher-theologians of the High Middle Ages.
